Terms of Service

The Traveler's Persona is operated by Catch Travel LLC at thetravelerspersona.com. “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to Catch Travel LLC throughout these terms.

We also operate a business-to-business platform that allows travel agents, tour operators, and other commercial travel businesses (“Partner Operators”) to access the Traveler's Persona system under a separate licensing agreement. If you accessed this quiz through a Partner Operator's branded product, these terms still govern your use of the underlying service.

You may use The Traveler's Persona for personal purposes. You agree not to:

• Use the service to scrape, harvest, or collect data in bulk
• Attempt to reverse-engineer the scoring algorithm or persona system
• Create accounts on behalf of others without their consent
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable law
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the service without written permission

You must be at least 13 years old to use this service. If you are under 18, you should have your parent or guardian's permission.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. We offer sign-in via magic link (email) and Google OAuth. You may not share your account with others.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abuse, or are inactive for an extended period.

Core features — including the quiz and your persona result — are free to access. We offer, or may in future offer, premium subscription tiers that unlock additional features such as detailed dimension reports, personalized destination recommendations, and trip planning tools.

Paid features are processed through a third-party payment provider (currently Stripe). Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law or at our sole discretion. We will give reasonable notice of any changes to pricing.

Cancelling a paid subscription takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access to paid features until that date.

You own the information you provide — your quiz answers, travel history, Wanderlist entries, experience reactions, and profile details remain yours. By submitting them, you grant us a license to:

• Operate and improve the service and provide personalized features to you
• Generate aggregated, anonymized, non-identifiable statistics and insights — such as “travelers who prefer independent exploration tend to favour low-crowd heritage sites” — that may be used in commercial partnerships, published research, or products developed by or with Catch Travel LLC
• Share your persona code (not your quiz answers or personal profile) with a Partner Operator if you accessed the service through their platform, or if you have explicitly opted in to sharing with a specific partner

We do not sell your personal data to third parties for their own marketing purposes. Aggregated insights derived from the platform's collective data may be commercialized; your individual responses are never attributed or identifiable in those outputs.

Travel agents, tour operators, and other commercial businesses may license access to the Traveler's Persona platform to use with their clients (“Partner Operators”). Partner Operators operate under a separate commercial agreement that includes a Data Processing Addendum (DPA).

If you interact with the platform through a Partner Operator's white-label product or referral:

• Your persona code may be visible to the Partner Operator for service delivery purposes
• The Partner Operator may not access your individual quiz answers, travel history, community flags, or other personal profile details
• The Partner Operator is contractually bound to use your persona data only to provide travel planning services to you — not for their own marketing, resale, or any other purpose

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the service. This involves placing cookies on your device and sending anonymized usage data to Google. You can opt out at any time — see our Privacy Policy for details.

We use Cloudflare Turnstile for bot detection on forms and submission endpoints. Turnstile operates client-side without a visual CAPTCHA challenge for most users. By submitting forms on this site, you consent to this check.

The Traveler's Persona — including the quiz, persona system, scoring methodology, copy, design, brand, and experience catalog — is owned by Catch Travel LLC. All rights are reserved.

You may share your persona result for personal, non-commercial purposes (social media, conversation, etc.). You may not reproduce, adapt, or commercialize any part of the platform — including the quiz questions, persona descriptions, or recommendation output — without prior written permission from Catch Travel LLC.

Partner Operators who license the platform receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for the scope defined in their commercial agreement. That license does not extend to the Partner Operator's clients or end users.

We work hard to keep The Traveler's Persona accurate and available, but we make no guarantees. The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Persona results are based on your self-reported answers and are intended as a reflective tool — not a clinical assessment, professional travel advice, or a guarantee of any particular experience.

Travel involves inherent risks. We are not responsible for travel decisions made based on recommendations from this platform. Destination information may be incomplete or out of date — always verify conditions before you travel.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Catch Travel LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or $10 if you have not paid us anything).

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Material changes include: changes to how we share your data with partners, changes to paid tier pricing or refund policy, and changes to intellectual property rights.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the jurisdiction where Catch Travel LLC is registered.
